Since it is responsible for science and technology material in the territory of Serbia, the Museum of Science and Technology also maintains the Principal Registry: a registry of technological cultural assets that are located in complex museums all over the country. Whether the items are organized into technological collections or are placed individually within other collections (most often within historical or ethnological collections), they are registered in the Museum of Science and Technology. In addition to traditional documentation gathered over several years, data on the items is also kept in digital form. The data is stored in a specially adapted segment of the program MNT Net - a constantly updated database. It provides a valuable source of information for the professional public, as well as for presenting the scientific and technological heritage of our country locally and abroad.
