Communications

The field of communications both documents and represents the significance that information has in modern society. Information technology permeates various fields of knowledge, as well as the various activities and items that are used for storing, presenting, reproducing and transporting information. The main stages of the technological development of communication devices in the late 19^th century and the 20^th century are emphasized. However, focus is on those technological and institutional forms that are characteristic of the modern development of Serbia.
