Gallery of Science and Technology of SASA Exhibition organized by: The Museum of Science and Technology Gallery of Science and Technology of SASA Author: Snežana Toševa Author of the display: Borjana Šuvaković This exhibition about Serbian-British cultural ties at the beginning of the 20th century is the result of long term research in the archives and libraries of Belgrade and London. The intention of the author was to give the same attention to the examination of Serbian-British ties in culture, as to ties in architecture and urbanism. Through authentic photographs, blueprints and archive materials, significant persons and phenomena that marked ties between the two nations in more recent history were pointed out for the first time. Owing to original material that is preserved in archives, museums and private collections, intensive and rich cultural ties between Serbia and Britain at the beginning of the 20th century were highlighted from different angles. By the wide scope of fields concerned, this exhibition that was dedicated to Serbian-British ties deals with subjects from the history of medicine, industrial archeology, the history of architecture, and urbanism.
